Kid Zoo

My lovely sis in law Kristen and her adorable little boy Izak, we had to catch a quick pic before he was off running around again like a crazy man!

Nana Herrud and Morgan hanging like the monkey she is!

Morgan was really into the balls...into the mouth and all, yummy!

It was a really nice day all in all, Morgan got to visit with Great Grandma Miner and Aunt Barbara who met us at the Kid City, cousin Izak and Nana all in one shot! She got some good stimulation that day.

Cascade Park Fun

The fam decided to go to Cascade Park and chill out for a while while my sis in law Kristen and her son Izak came all the way from SLC for a visit! We had a blast spending time with them while they were here. Here are some pics from our fun day!

Kristen and Izak having fun at Cascade, yeah!

I can't deny what a great shot I am, it is true, I can't miss...well maybe just a couple times, Trev's gun was fun to shoot!

I love this guy!

So we brought some smores thinking what a great tasty treat over the open fire...well no fires for us...at least from April until October! Way to ruin our day..well almost, we still had an awesome time!

Mother's Day

I had a great day thinking how grateful I am to have Morgan in my life and how much I wanted her to come. We waited...and it was totally worth the wait! I couldn't ask for a more wonderful child, she is better than I will ever be I am sure of it!

Yakima Here We Come!

We are for sure going to Yakima not Tri-cities which we are pretty happy about. The countdown has begun! We will be heading over there in the next couple weeks. We are pretty excited because we have been trying to think if we want to rent or buy or build or whichever. Well we went to Selah over the weekend for just a day but talked with some friends who may sell us some land..about 2 acres for a steal of a deal...dirt cheap you might say. It is awesome because the land is already subdivided so two houses can be built there so it would be a great investment!! We are trying to get things figured out so we can build a new house!! We are ecstatic and praying that things will go in our favor once again!!

Growing Up

So I was thinking about my background and decided it was probably a little too young and immature for me so I decided to update my blog with a background more age appropriate...and more momish, if that is a word. I am wondering if I will ever get to the point in my life where I feel age appropriate..ya know what I mean? I am getting older in age but I really don't feel like I am very old..maybe it is because I was already so very mature in my younger years that it doesn't seem like I am making much progress now...(Yeah right..me mature?) Anyways that's whats goin on.

Fondulicious...

So we just celebrated our 6th year Anniversary which was really today March 30 but we had to celebrate on Wednesday the 26th b/c of Trev's work schedule. It was pretty much amazing...yes we went to Tacoma and ate at The Melting Pot!! My sis Kenz was nice enough to hang out with Morgan while we went out alone. We did the 4 course experience, we had never been so wanted to try it all plus I had a coupon and that always helps! We started off with a cheese appetizer that they make in front of you..we got the artichoke asiago cheese dip and I experienced something new...with Trevor's help of course...green apples with cheese dip is spectacular!

Then we continued with some traditional Cesear Salad, which was also very tasty! Then onto the good stuff, we had a combination of meats including filet mignon--my fav, shrimp, pork, chicken, ravioli and teriaki beef. It was fun cuz we got to take our little pokie forks and stab the meat and cook it in this broth, it doesn't take much to amuse me!

So the Finale was or course the chocolate fondue..we had the smores fondue which was exciting when the waiter set our chocolate on fire with some bacardi!! I don't even want to imagine how many calories I ate, gotta live right?

I can't imagine spending eternity with anyone else than Trevor, he truly is one of a kind, he is the most compassionate, loving, sensitive, funny, awesome bestfriend a girl could ask for and he happens to be my husband! I am thankful everyday of my life that we are together.

Easter Sunday

Just some quick pics of us on Easter, it was a good day. We ate some really good barbecue pork, potato salad, cole slaw and chips...yummy!! It was a nice relaxing day with the family. It wasn't the ideal day for any egg hunt or outdoor fun..it was really cold and rainy like usual..can't wait for a change!

Almost on Our Way

So I found out from Trev today that we might not really be going to Yakima after all...his Sergeant from the Academy told him that they need another Trooper in the Tri-Cities area...so we don't know for sure yet but hopefully we will find out soon so we can get all arranged!! It is a little crazy until he gets' commissioned here in April. It will be nice when everything is final and we can look for a house to buy again and get settled into a new ward, make new ties, and of course have lot's of fun etc!! I will be sad though not going to Yakima, leaving old friends, old ward, family, familiarity and such..but I will keep you guys posted on what is happening!
